Forward Deployed Engineers live at the seam between our product and the operators who run on it. You will embed with real portable sanitation businesses, get them live, build the integrations and tooling that unblock them, and turn what you learn in the field straight back into the product. Part engineer, part onboarding lead, part product scout: you will ship production React and SQL in the morning and walk an operator through their first route in the afternoon. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who wants their work in front of customers, not buried three teams deep.
What you'll do
- Lead technical onboarding and data migration for new operators, from messy spreadsheets to a clean, live account
- Build the integrations, importers, and automations that unblock specific customers
- Debug across the whole stack, from the API and the database to the React front end
- Turn what you see in the field straight into product, with a direct line to the roadmap
- Use agentic coding to move fast without ever lowering the bar
- Be the technical face operators trust when something actually matters
Who you are
- 6+ years shipping production software
- Deep React and TypeScript
- Strong SQL and Postgres, you can read a query plan
- You own your CI/CD and your deploys
- Agentic coding and prompt engineering are daily tools, not novelties
- Confident talking to customers, with EU timezone overlap
- Fluent English, written and spoken
